This blog is a place for me to share my thoughts on various issues ranging from political to personal.  I do not expect everyone to agree with me, but I insist people keep their comments civil.  That said, do feel free to share your perspective as well.  I learn and refine my ideas through a process of debate and argumentation, so in a way this blog is about sharpening my understanding “with a little help from my friends”, as well as venting about the condition of our world in a sometimes melodramatic fashion.
